The novels, Forget Me Not, Love Me Not, and Tell Me Not make up a trilogy and share some common themes. One of the themes is love: fleeting, enduring, found, lost, squandered, abused and rekindled.
According to the ancient Greeks there are eight kinds of love: Eros – erotic; Philla – affectionate; Storge – familiar; Ludus – playful; Mania – obsessive; Pragma – enduring; Philautia – Self; and Agape – selfless, and all characters are hinged on one or a combination of these love traits.
Another common theme is location. All three books are largely set in or very close to Jacqueline’s magical part of Tuscany. They can be read in any order as they are independent and stand-alone books.
Life’s longest path, it is said, is to the heart, and each book’s hero, anti-hero and other characters overcome obstacles in their quest for the truth and last but not least, finding lasting love.
Happy reading…
